This is the first post in a series where I journal on my iPad Pro using a MOFII wireless keyboard.
I started this journaling series because I needed an outlet to get all my thoughts and ideas out of my head and onto the page, so I can free my mind to focus on my work.

IPAD PRO
The new iPad Pro has a 12.9″ display, M1 performance, amazing graphics, and a battery that lasts all day.
Originally, I purchased this iPad because I wanted to learn the skills of a graphic artist while using the Procreate app, so I could design the covers of my journals, notebooks, and planners. Unfortunately, I haven’t taken any classes yet because between work, building this business, and playing Roblox with my granddaughter, I just haven’t had the time.
MOFII WIRELESS BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD
This colorful keyboard is a joy to type on. The removable keys make a clicking sound that’s fun to listen to as you type.
IPAD PRO 12.9″ CASE
It took me a long time to choose this iPad case, mostly because there are so many cute ones available.
I love this one for its vibrant colors and design, and on the practical side, it has a holder for the 2nd Generation Apple Pen and can be used as a stand to hold the iPad Pro upright as you type.
APPLE PEN (GENERATION 2)
This Apple ll Pen is useful when you want to use your iPad Pro as a writing table.
I use it often – until my hand cramps due to old age.
WHOOSH SCREEN CLEANER
I knew I needed a specific cleaner for my iPad because through experience I know how dirty my electronics can get with daily use.
This screen cleaner is the only one Apple uses in its stores.
I would not recommend using this on any other device than an Apple product though. It doesn’t work.
VANILLA CANDLE LOVE
I think life is better with a candle burning in the background.
A little bit of soft piano music playing and a vanilla-scented candle burning, and I’m experiencing a little bit of heaven on earth.
SMALL BLENDER BOTTLE
If you’ve never used a blender bottle, you gotta try it.
They’re especially great for protein drinks and smoothies because of the patented ball whisk that comes with them.
I also like that they’re easy to hold.
INSULATED WINE TUMBLER
I love the personalized wine tumbler I received from my youngest daughter because I can use it for more than just holding wine.
Since it’s insulated, it’s also great for coffee and chilled lemon water.

You may have noticed that I have a lot of things on my desk. It’s true. I’m not a minimalist. I’ve tried it, and it makes me anxious.
Give me a cluttered space any day – as long as the clutter is books and book accessories.

I love bookish coasters, so when I saw this set, I knew I needed them.
These are not the same as the coaster in the above video, but they’re cute nonetheless.
Journal With Me Ideas
I think it’s important to note here that you don’t need an iPad Pro to keep a journal. This is just something that I’ve chosen to use as part of my journaling process.
There are many mediums to choose from to journal your thoughts. For example, you can use an analog journal, notebook, digital journal, laptop, or computer – whatever you have available is sufficient. The important thing is to use whatever method you have available to destress.
COMPOSITION NOTEBOOK
Since I haven’t accomplished my goal of creating journals yet, I use this composition notebook when I need to write out my thoughts by hand.
This one is 8″x10″ and part of a set of polka-dotted notebooks that I just love.
I think they’re so cute, don’t you?
WOODEN PENCILS
If you’re from my generation that grew up using pencils to learn to write, then you’ll know that not all pencils are the same. I searched all over Amazon to find a true wooden pencil and found these are exactly the ones I remember using as a child.
My granddaughter and I love sharpening these in the below electric pencil sharpener before we play school together during summer vacation.
ELECTRONIC PENCIL SHARPENER
I distinctly remember using the pencil sharpener in elementary school which was attached to the wall.
There’s nothing so satisfying as a sharpened pencil.
This electric pencil sharpener is much better than today’s handheld sharpeners and just as good as any at school.
COLORFUL PAPER CLAMPS
I sometimes use these paper clamps as bookmarks when I journal.
You may want to try it too.
